Junior Project Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and focused individual to join a company that pride themselves on innovation and quality; as a Junior Project Design Engineer. The company are looking for an individual who are passionate about their work and creating innovative design.

Based in Brackley the hours of work will consist of 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Offering £24,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Duties of the role:

• Supporting the existing team with tasks when necessary.
• Designing interior aspects of residential and commercial properties.
• Using AutoCAD and Sketchup to support the design making process.
• Create 2D and photo realistic 3D rendered proposal documents and any additional required documentation.
• Provide high quality solutions and suggestions for design.
• Act as an advocate for the business at all times, showing knowledge and outstanding customer service for clients.
• Work alongside the design team, engineers and sales team to meet targets and client requirements while helping the business expand innovation and rapport.

You must:

• Work well within a team being able to support other members of the team promoting growth and a cohesive work environment.
• Have experience using AutoCAD or Sketchup in a similar environment.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
• Work well under pressure and able to complete tasks to deadlines.
• Be creative and innovative coming up with alternative ideas to resolve potential issues or problems that may arise.
• Display passion and dedication within your work and the company.

Experience with SketchUp, 3D modelling and visualisation software is ideal. This role could be suited to an individual looking to develop their skills from a Junior Level.
