This is a rare opportunity for an Electronic Assembly Technician to join a family run business, renowned for the supply of specialised scanning devices to the international retail market. Leaders in their field, this production team have high profile contracts to fulfil and tight deadlines to meet. Training will be provided however, you will need to hit the ground running and prove your skills set. It is vital that you will be able to adapt and fit in harmoniously, this is a close-knit team who are looking for a reliable addition to their department.

Based in a lovely location just outside Bicester, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a stable career in this field. Offering £25,000 per annum.

Duties will include:
• Prioritising production and meeting accuracy targets daily
• Quality checking products throughout build to make sure expectation of product build is met throughout
• Report any reject parts
• Monitor stock controls and anticipate any problems or shortages
• Build component parts to specification of the client and stock levels
• Prepare cables, wiring and circuit boards to meet production requirements
• Test and program circuit boards prior to final assembly
• Support other departments when required
• Adhere to, up hold and implement all health and safety procedures

Applicants must have:
• Soldering experience, preferably in electrical assembly
• Their own transport due to rural location

The successful candidate will have experience in electrical assembly, specifically soldering and have strong attention to detail. Communication, organisation and dexterity are essential skills for this role, applicants must have proven experience in these areas. You must be able to meet tight deadlines whilst not compromising on high quality of work. The position is 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday – flexible start from 08:00am.
