Senior Gardener

Our client based in a local luxury destination is looking for a Senior Gardener to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months. Being an important and valued member of the already brilliant Gardening Team.

You will be responsible for both gardening and landscaping tasks across the site. Although your focus will be on maintaining the installations you will also be interacting with members of the public, answering queries.

Working Monday to Friday, typically 7-4 but flexibility will be required depending on client need, you will be based outside at all times so must be comfortable in all weather. Appropriate seasonal uniform will be provided.

Duties of the Senior Gardener:
• Mange installations, and surroundings.
• Water, feed and prune plants.
• Replace plant as needed, for seasonal and events purposes.
• Work alongside the Operations and Visual team to ensure that installations are adhering to requirements and design visions.
• Drive company vehicles around site.
• Support with occasional overnight installations during seasonal refreshes.
• Answer questions and queries on the plants and installations.

Personal Attributes:
• Previous experience working in a similar role.
• Good Horticultural knowledge.
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Friendly and approachable.
• Drivers licence due nature of the role.

Offering £35,000 per annum pro rata, this is a fantastic experience with the opportunity to work on unique and changing installations.
